ERC EcoCamp

The Environmental Resource Center (ERC) is honored to receive $2,000 from the Papoose Club to support our 2019 EcoCamp Scholarship Fund. Each summer, the ERC facilitates two week-long overnight Ecocamps, one for rising 5 th -6 th grade students and one for rising 7 th -9 th grade students at the Galena Lodge yurts. EcoCamp provides the opportunity for campers to spend a week exploring Idaho’s natural world. Camps are designed to give campers the confidence, skills and tools necessary to become better stewards of the environment while developing a passion and appreciation for wild places. In 2019, we

anticipate serving 50% of campers, approximately 14 individuals through the EcoCamp Scholarship Fund.

Without, the support of the community, we would not be able to provide this summer camp experience to local youth! We are so grateful for support from the Papoose Club.

If Papoose Club members are interested in volunteering at ERC youth environmental education programs, please contact Alisa McGowan, ERC Program Director, at alisa@ercsv.org or 208-726-4333.
