"My budget for GATE and Leadership classes at WRMS has been cut by 25% since I began teaching in 2012. The WRMS PTA Teacher Enrichment Grants have helped me to get supplies that I need to maintain the quality of the projects that these classes put together which almost always are for the benefit of our school at large or for non-profit organizations in our community. These grants enable my students to bring their creative ideas to life as much as possible. Last year at the end of the school year I ran out of paint and was out of money. I was able to use the grant to restock my paint supply so we could finish a dance and talent show project for the school" ~ Melanie Schrader, WRMS GATE Facilitator
